Again, it’s very strange that you make all of these conclusions based on the fact that we pointed out a 3am troll.
It’s no secret that LSU has had a terrible couple of years, but that’s not because the fans aren’t up posting at 3am or are leaving terrible games in the 3rd quarter. It’s mainly because LSU had a HC who caught lightning in a bottle in 2019, and didn’t have the ability to deal with success and sustain winning at a high level.
Alabama isn’t good at football because the fans post on stupid message boards at 3am, or because 100,000 people show up for the Spring Game. Alabama is good at football because they have the best HC in the history of the game, and he has set a standard that Alabama had been missing for quite some time before he arrived.
So, your theory that somehow because we’re not posting at 3am, or because we’re leaving shitty games in the 3rd quarter is why we’ve struggled the last two years is dumb. Even with those things, we’re still considered elite, and only Alabama has been more successful in the past 20 years.
Our fan base is a mess. Always will be. We like it that way. Now that we have a Coach who you can actually understand at a press conference, I believe great things are ahead… But it has zero to do with 3am posts.

Every college football expert considered the LSU job to be top 5 in the country, and the best job available last year. You don’t have to like it, but LSU is still widely considered a top 5 program. That’s just a fact.

You people made it about the time of the post because you didn’t have a retort for the OP, who simply copied and pasted an article someone else wrote.
So, one of two things happened here. You don’t have any argument against what was posted - it simply hurt your feelings because it’s true and you didn’t know how to respond.
Or
You couldn’t imagine yourself thinking about football at 3am, no matter what kind of work/life schedule you have - which indicates you lack fricks to give about the sport you let yourself get worked up about.

Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. Fans packing the stadium for a spring game was unheard of, and is still unheard of in Baton Rogue. Bama fans were made fun of for this until we signed the #1 ranked recruiting class afterwards and everyone from Saban to the players themselves credited the turnout for A-Day as part of the reason they wanted to go to Bama.

I think it’s spot on, now that I think about it. Making fun of someone for posting online at 3am makes perfect sense for a fanbase who can’t even stay through the 3rd quarter of a game they’re actually attending. A true microcosm of the entire program.
