Trading a few picks to the Texans for Watson, and then getting a difference-making WR to go with him would definitely be the safer way to go

Wouldn't touch Wentz with a 10' pole.

As a Gm you are almost locked in because of whom the experts say you should pick. If the jags gm picked anyone but TL he'd be crucified. If they got Watson or any of the others they'd more than likely have to give up that first pick.

Jacksonville would be smart to trade down if they aren't sold on Lawrence

But are the concerns about devontes size and durability for a longer nfl schedule/playoffs?

I think it's more that the players are bigger and faster which means bigger hits with greater impact. Personally I think he'll be fine. It's not as if players his size have never been successful as a pro.

Wrong. This post is a great example of overreacting to a player's college success. Smith will be great I'm sure, but Lawrence is the most surefire QB prospect in at least a decade. It's an easy choice

This is exactly what they should do. Fill up on as many picks as they can and try to take a QB toward the middle/end of round one.

Then you’re dumb, because it’s quite apparent he picks apart mediocre defenses by throwing to abnormally tall receivers like Ross and falls apart when he plays defenses with any semblance of a pulse like LSU 2019 or OSU 2020. Much like Tua, his peak was freshman year and early most of sophomore season and then a meh junior season because of outside factors.

Dude is closer to Danny Weurffel than he is Justin Herbert or Burrow.

You're quick to say "wrong" but you can't actually give any reasons why he's a surefire top pick without regurgitating something that sports media told you to believe.

I'm not sold on Lawrence. When LSU beat Clemson in 2019, Burrow was clearly the better QB on the field.

Even removing the Burrow-Lawrence comparison, there was a big stretch in the second half where Lawrence just missed his WRs. Game still in reach, but LSU in danger of pulling away, and you NEED to do something... and he's overthrowing guys on out patterns.

No one said that the guy who routinely launched it into triple coverage and sent reporters dick pics was the smartest guy. Lawrence is the #1 pick, its not a difficult choice in the slightest

Brett Favre's literally forgotten more about football and ESPECIALLY being an NFL QB that you'll ever know... This is coming from someone who isn't even a fan... In other words, STFU before you make yourself look even dumber.
