Brett Favre would take Devonta Smith over Trevor Lawrence
quote:

"I think you go with a guy like that," Favre said. "Nothing against Trevor Lawrence but I think you can find a free agent guy or a guy in the latter rounds or mid-rounds in the draft.

On Devonta:
quote:

But, you just don't find a guy like a -- this guy could be a Jerry Rice. He could be different. A Randy Moss. A total game-changer.”

Smith is a much safer pick.

Meyers with a DA response. I've been a TL fan since TL became TL. Geesshhhh

That being said Meyer didnt become hc of the jags so they could draft a receiver.

Saying it without saying it is kind in my opinion. At least someone FINALLY said something about his overrated ass. All I'm going to say is two teams picking in the top ten are going to be greatly disappointed with taking Lawrence and Fields.

Brett Favre is basically saying it’s easier to find a quality QB later in the draft than a WR, and he’s full of shite.

It’s much easier to find receivers beyond the first round.

I read it as him saying that its easy to find someone as good as Trevor Lawrence later in the draft.

Deshaun Watson and Matthew Stafford are up for trade. No reason the Jags HAVE to gamble on TL.

Correct. That's how he meant it.

True, I forgot about them. Heard that Wft was looking at Stafford.

No one said that the guy who routinely launched it into triple coverage and sent reporters dick pics was the smartest guy. Lawrence is the #1 pick, its not a difficult choice in the slightest

Nah, he’s saying TL is overrated.

We know you fancy yourself an NFL “expert” and think you know better than Brett Favre, but that is not what he was saying.

Because hes really that good and deserves it, or because that's what ESPN tells you?

Wentz may also be available and Sam Darnold is also a possibility if the Jets draft a QB early.

This is a great example of media brainwashing.

Im not an nfl guy. I dont know the game. I know the rules are slanted.

But are the concerns about devontes size and durability for a longer nfl schedule/playoffs?
