As much as I would like to bag on LSU and enjoy the schadenfreude, I honestly feel awful for the faculty, staff, and students at the university right now. I know this is a lighthearted, "internet serious biz" sports message board, but the financial straits are a worrisome issue.
LSU will get this resolved but the price tag will most likely be faculty/staff jobs, academic programs, and student QOL. As much as we like to troll, LSU is a very good research university. Nobody wins if that deteriorates because of shitty political management
As much as I hate you corndogs in in athletics, I'm wishing you all the best in this issue. I sincerely hope there is a good resolution to this that doesn't require a significant gutting.
Just wanted to throw this somewhere on the board. Back to your scheduled programming now.
