Alabama will work with SEC like they always do and to ensure it's SEC brethren gets fed also. Honestly glad some of the posters here have recognized the University of Alabama has looked out for the best interest growing the SEC.

I wouldn't worry either way... Looking at the East conference title for the past decade is like looking at Clemson and the ACC.

It’s either pods or Bama goes east. I don’t see any way around it.

if this happens, and if there are 2 divisions, it's a damn good bet Alabama will be in the East, and it makes sense

This is how the divisions will look:

BEST:
Alabama
Vanderbilt
Mississippi State
Ole Miss
Missouri
Arkansas
Tennessee
Kentucky

REST:
Texas
Oklahoma
LSU
Auburn
Georgia
Texas A&M
Florida
South Carolina

Seems fair to me.

Yep, no doubt, Bama would be the BEST in that set up. I agree!

I’ve been calling for this move for years. You move Bama and Auburn to the east, add OU and Texas and we get to keep all rivalries in tact.

of course they have. I do feel bama has kind of held the league back scheduling wise with the 3rd saturday in Oct but i understand it and i love rivalry games and feel they do need to be preserved. at the same rate, Bama has been the most progressive in promoting the 9 game schedule to fix the issue of the permanent oppenents.

but in all seriousness....frick bama
