If LSU does what they do best and blows this game Saturday, what are the odds Pelini is fired within the next week?

Boosters won't be happy and will cough up his buyout with no problem.

He won’t be fired, O only fired Canada because they had no previous relationship. No way he fires one of his boys.

Is Pelini accepted as a "Rosy Finch Boi"?

Key word he. I'd be willing to bet that woodward gets what the boosters want done.

Pelini was never a good hire. Game has evolved and left him behind.

This narrative that O hires his friends is weird to me, the only one that he was legitimately friends with was Ensminger and he was already on staff when O got to LSU.

rather he take Emsinger with him. Who's going to hold E's hand if L goes?

Linehan was also an atrocious hire. Washed up NFL retread who didn't even get good results in the NFL. Old man with no future in CFB.

Firing your DC at this point would be a huge overreaction, at the end of the season yes, but now? no way

We fired Les 3 games into the season. That was the fault of the idiot AD but that wouldn't be a huge over reaction if our D plays like the dumpster fire it is against yall.

If your boosters are capable of making decisions like that, then you don't really have a head coach.

And from the results so far this season, you may be correct.

Not until next season at the earliest. Way too much money on the line.

No they won’t. They’re not paying 7 million to fire a DC after 4 games

Good luck if you are having the AD go around the coach to get someone fired

So the LSU AD, not Orgeron, runs the football program?

Head coach on a short leash eh? I guess when the coach is more interested in chasing women than coaching the team it happens

The Chizik comparison has been often noted. Dubose version 2 seems appropriate enough as well especially in light of pending NCAA problem

If you need to be "disproved" that Linehan didnt get "good results" in the NFL then you clearly know nothing about what he did in the NFL.

Why make statements about things you know nothing about?

LSU’s season was over before it started. Coach O was obviously celebrating way too late into the offseason. It’s reflected in this team.

Not to mention they lost a LOT of great players.
