Birmingham area (Huntsville, too) folks: Let's discuss "3 Man Front" WJOX radio

"3 Man Front" is a new lunchtime sports radio show on WJOX in Birmingham, AL. It is also broadcast in Huntsville, too. Maybe somewhere else. It is also available online, of course.
It replaces the popular "Roundtable" show that moved to the AM time slot.
As with several shows in these parts, it caters to primarily both Alabama and Auburn fans. The hosts are Cole Cubelic (former Auburn player), Aaron Suttles (Bama beat writer), and Landrum Roberts (went to Auburn, but otherwise just a journeyman journalist).
The only one on the show worth a crap is Cole Cubelic. I'm saying that as an Alabama fan. Now, he does try really hard to remain objective and not be an Auburn homer. He obviously has his sights set on places higher than this, plus he is on the SEC Network sidelines. So, he knows his stuff fairly well. The other two are just goons and the producers are trying things to get the three to gel together.
Overall, it's not awful, but it just isn't all that great. I give the show a C-.
For those who listen to sports radio and who know the show, chime in and offer your opinion.

Three man front is barely passable.
Whatever 103.9 replaced the roundtable in the morning with in Huntsville is even worse.

JOX SUX
Un listenable because all they do is kiss arse to all the the callers
Bring back Randy and Lee and their sports jamboree and their stupid arse song!
I miss all of those hard hitting interviews with McGill Toolen's assistant junior varsity middle school pole vaulting coach.

It’s definitely not very good. I was listening to it today during my lunch break and just cut it off.

I don't know, man, I have been listening and I am still trying to get used to it. Ask me in a couple of months and I'll have a stronger opinion.

Well, I know radio programs take a little time to evolve and develop, and I also know that Alabamians tend to be very resistant to change. I am no exception to that rule.

It’s like the 3 man Aubie Douche. Mistake moving the Roundtable. It’s time to bring back Van Smack and forget the local fish hack.

All they have done is suck off Tua for the past week and offseason
Cole is as critical of an Auburn alum as you will find and while he obviously has a bias, he is still willing to give teams their due. Aaron is great, and even though he is obviously pro-bama he doesn’t let that get in the way. Landrum is the clear weak link IMO.

Cole reminds me of Greg McElroy. Will make sure he doesn't come off as a homer.
Yes, I'm not sure what LR brings to the show.

Agreed. C- is probably being generous.
The show from 6-8 after Fbaum is unlistenable.

Glad to see this thread so I can vent.
I cannot understand what Jox was thinking. Horrible show! Only thing worse would be that shite that's on 103.9 in Huntsville that replaced the round table.
Cole sucks so bad. The whole show is dry as dust.
And whoever thought that guy Arky Shea had a radio future must be his uncle that owns the station.
97.7 the zone has the best show for my demographic at 5:00 with Wes Neighbors and Steve Moulton. I've given up during the day though.

Our local show is called "the Drive". features Wes Neighbors(nice enough fellow), and the most frequent guest is a way too drunk Pat Dye rambling on like he does.

The new morning show on 97.7 isn't awful. Drew DeArmond at least knows his stuff. Scott whoever from tv is just awful. I mean awful

This show gets a D. Just not that entertaining

Cole is barely tolerable the other guys not so much. I liked the Roundtable better in their old time slot. Never understood why Bill King lost his show in Huntsville.
