Without non-conference games, this would be the perfect year for an 8-team playoff. I like the 4 team CFP, but we need an expanded playoff this year to decide a true champion.

It'll be something to see how they discuss/consider losses caused by a team having a bunch of starters out with COVID. Also, the team with the best record in the SEC may still have two losses, because an all-SEC schedule will make it nearly impossible for any of our teams to go undefeated or only suffer one loss. It is going to be a gauntlet for everyone in this conference. It'll be interesting to see how a two loss SEC champ stacks up in the eyes of the committee.

Exactly. Which is why I am suggesting an 8-team playoff for this season only.
