It won't happen because he is not a big name but he would be a steal for someone. Tenersee or Moo State need to make the call.

He is a real candidate for State. He is a stud and would be a homerun for Tennessee

I'm all for Mississippi State or Tennessee hiring away Bill Clark from UAB. The sooner he's gone, the sooner that program becomes a shithole again, and the sooner we can cut their football team. This time permanently.

What the hell is wrong with UAB having a football program?

frick that. I want him to stay in Birmingham until Gus leaves Auburn.

He’s not going anywhere. Guy hung around UAB for 2 years when he could have easily bolted for another job. He’s way too invested in building UAB.

Id like this hire, or Neal Brown. Bill Clark would be my first choice.
Losing Grantham will be worse than losing Mullen in the short term. We were going to have a great defense next year.

You might wanna take a look at the money being poured into the program and the current facilities builds around it. It’s pretty much here to stay now.

If he's married, money will talk.

Yeah, where have we heard that before???

I can't understand why a big football school won't give Clark a look. What he's done at UAB is amazing.

He would be a clean hire with no baggage. Don't understand why he is not getting more attention.

would be the perfect hire for OM. he knows how to build from the ground up. would be a homerun for Arky as well.

No where recently because Bill Clark is the only HC in the country that had his up and coming program shut down and then completely resurrected within a couple years. He’s literally balls deep in the rebirth of UAB football at the moment. When I say he’s too invested in UAB at the moment, it’s not a figure of speech. Trying to lure him to Arky or one of the MS schools where he can be cannon fodder and fired in 4 or 5 years is probably not something he’s looking to do.

Tell me again why exactly is it we're scared of UAB?

he also hates the new AD's guts.

quote:$1M a year for 5 years at UAB vs $3M with increases for 5 years with buyout?? Hhmmm? Yeah, don't do that to me.
