If you don’t at the very least make the SB every season you are a total failure. Fire him now.

In terms of overall accomplishments of course not.... it does make a point about every program/team/franchise having ups and downs. Even ones that are successful more often than not. In CF even more as you have consistent roster turn over.

It is interesting to see how arguably the greatest coach and QB in NFL history are faring apart from each other. Right now Brady clearly has the edge with a better record and his replacement in NE getting benched during a poor performance.

It’s obvious Brady and gronk had enough of belichick and he most likely wins a super bowl with Tampa
He looks like he has more years than Brees will have
I can’t imagine saban coaching players for ten plus years in the nfl either he couldn’t even make it two years as players were about to mutiny

Maybe not completely apples to apples, Belichick did have some success at a prior stop: as I understand it he (and Saban) had the Browns trending upwards until Art Model decided to move the franchise to Baltimore and that ruined their season

Cam’s NFL career wasn’t peaking but he did make a super bowl and is undeniably talented.

Belichick has won many super bowls and has established himself well beyond a single season.
Coach O has won a single NC after establishing himself as a mediocre coach at best.
In otherwords, the bad season is the outlier for Belichick and a great season is the outlier for Coach O.
