Biggest surprise players this year, who do you have

I am going with Arik Gilbert, TE, LSU. He was one of highest graded TE prospects ever, and has been lighting it up in practice, with our elite DBs saying things like he is uncoverable, night mare matchup etc. Miles favorite target was a big TE in high school and I think he is going to be his main target this year.

Serious question, how did you guys pull this one off?? Not a slight on LSU, I mean in all fairness you all had the GOAT season, but that kid was GUSHING when he committed to you... That was more than just a business decision... Did he love O that much??

LSU has always used TEs well, even under Les. After seeing what Thad Moss did last year, Arik knew that he could be *the* guy on every third down/redzone play

Fair enough and makes sense... Not like our TE's have been lighting it up lately... Plus the last truly elite TE we had(OJ) he was criminally underutilized..

Surprise players...tough...
Offense- Malik Davis(RB)
Defense - Jeremiah Moon(DE) - Moon has gotten a litle hype, but I think he explodes this year. Has gained weight to help against the run. I'm thinking he shoots up draft boards this year.

Owen condon starting at right tackle is a huge surprise.
It is tough to find surprises at UGA because the recruiting is so stellar.
Jermaine Burton is a great recruit, but he has an outside chance of being the #2 target by seasons end. That could be significant for a true freshman on this talented of a team.

Is Cox really going to surprise anyone? He would’ve gone late 1st or early 2nd round in the draft. Isn’t he playing to go early 1st round?

Surprise players for Auburn...I think there could be a few. I am not going to list our highest rated recruit Tank because that wouldn't be a surprise. I think on Defense, TFR Ladarrius Tennison will be a known name by seasons end. He is a freak and a head hunter. On Offense....no question....Brandon Frazier, our TFR 6'7 TE that can run, catch, and take your mom out for a brunch on Sunday. Just wait.
