We have played pretty much every single major college football program at least once

I’m surprised LSU-Michigan haven’t met in either the Citrus or Outback Bowl in the last few years. They both make frequent appearances in those bowl games, but haven’t crossed path yet.

As someone who hates both schools - a ND auburn home and home would be pretty epic

Notre Dame, Florida State or Penn State
We play Notre Dame in a few years so we’ll check one off the list but it’ll take bowls for the other two in the near future.

I don’t think we’ve played Oregon. We have them schedule, but it fell through.

No current SEC team has ever played Stanford in the regular season. They played Tulane three times in the 60s. In fact the last home game Tulane ever played as a member of the SEC was against Stanford.
UGA and LSU have played them in a Bowl. And Bama played them twice in the Rose Bowl.

I'm torn between Iowa and Pitt as to which is the "bigger" program that Bama has never played.

For UGA, it was OU until the 2018 Rose Bowl. I think now it would have to be Washington.
how does this receive 3 down votes?

Oregon?

Nope.
Imo. Oregon is/was trendy, but not a bigger named school in a broader perspective than either Iowa or Pitt... among others.

Michigan and I don’t think we’ve played UCLA

How long do they have to be good before it’s not trendy anymore? I’d say they’ve been pretty steady for the past 20-25 years while Pitt hasn’t been successful for at least 20 years.

That is par for the course for many of the "big" names in CFB
But, Oregon was irrelevant in college football until 2000, had some competitive teams, a couple in the NC picture but didnt win, but hasn't been a real contender in 5+ yrs... while playing in the worst PAC era I can recall in terms of competitiveness since the USC dynasty died.
So, I'll take a Pitt game or Iowa (hard nosed old school football with great traveling fanbase) over a team that was a 14 yr blip on the radar in CFB history.

I have always wanted to watch Auburn vs Penn State I’m glad it’s coming up soon.

UCF is the largest university LSU has ever played. UCF has over 60K students.

I’m almost sure this was mentioned before and if I recall right, for Miss State it was 3 power 5’s. Notre Dame, Ohio State and Oklahoma.
I think we’ve played everyone in the ACC and Big12 (outside of OU). The Pac not sure about. I know we played a good many but the 3 above mentioned is what I remember the MSU faithful mentioning.
