They have now set a ridiculous precedent
That's why they are trying so hard to lobby for the other conferences to join in their stupidity so they don't look like the idiots they are.
Good luck trying to negotiate new TV deals when your conference will pull the plug every time an epidemic or pandemic comes around.f

Those two conferences have quite a few universities in hotter spots. Seattle, LA and the Bay area, plus Portland being near the Oregon schools for the PAC. Minneapolis, Columbus, New Jersey, D.C./Baltimore, Chicago, plus Detroit for the Michigan schools for Big Ten. That had to play into it, unfortunately. This country has become so litigious the liability of a single case also can't help either.

Pandemics that hit the US killing 160k and counting people in half a year are common occurrences?

Please stop pretending this virus is more than it has demonstrated to be. These student athletes have a very lower chance of having any adverse affects if they get covid. This has all turned in politics because the left thinks this is hurting Trump; I know its not about science.
