That draft run really coincides with the start of SEC dominance upon the heels of the 2006 Florida NC

Wow. That is some serious obsession.

That's awesome but am I the only person who's over businesses/schools/government agencies and what not having twitter presences akin to 15 year olds?

Yep, and the seeds were sown a couple of years earlier when Saban brought his relentless attention to detail and recruiting drive to the talent rich south.
Obviously nobody does it as well as him but everybody very quickly started stepping their games up and it shows on the field and in the draft.

Urban being hired in 2005 and Saban coming back to the conference in 2007 really, really made everyone else in the league up their talent level to stay competitive.

quote:Call me crazy, but the Auburn vs. Oregon game was one of the most underrated games in the BCS era. It just got overshadowed because Cam didn't have a good game.
10- Auburn

Absolutely disagree. USC would have shite housed that Auburn team. Auburn was very good that year, USC was elite. They would have beaten Auburn by 3+ TD's.

2004 USC was better than 2003 USC, and 2003 USC absolutely annihilated Auburn in JHS. 2004 Auburn was great but they would not have beaten USC.

And that's fine and they would have put up a better fight than Oklahoma did, that much im sure of. I believe OU lost by 5 TD's. USC was at that time basically what Alabama has been for the last 13 years.
Absolutely loaded with talent, well coached, just a total machine. Bush, White, Leinart, etc etc. They would have beaten Auburn fairly easily. Not to mention, just a year earlier they kicked Auburn's arse at Jerdan-Haire.

Was that the Jason Campbell years?

Remember with the Midwest sports writers did everything in their power to downplay the SEC and crown Big 10 teams as the best? Good times.

2004 Auburn was also much better than 2003 Auburn.
2003 Auburn's OC has been running a trucking company in Albany, GA for the last 13 years. 2004 Auburn's OC got Jason Campbell into the 1st Rd of the NFL draft.

Oh, I absolutely love it when the bamelt brigade patrols the SECrANT, minutely, for teams not named Alabama that mention their greatness. Then they'll get caught making Saints alters to coordinate salvos (even though theyre from the same kid).
CNite is another example of the 'trying to eliminate any good talk of Auburn/LSU/insert team that's not bama'. Then the trade off goes to where they will begin to leghump 95 Nebraska JUST to not mention LSU 2019 as the best season ever.
Wait for Alabama to have a year similar....they will exit that Nebraska knee cap faster than a vegetarian at Dreamland.
