I tend to lurk alot here, I'm more of Xs and Os type so don't post much. I realize the Big 6 are teams that won the Sec in the modern era. So my questions is how long do you have go between Sec Championships before your seat is pulled? If a Non Big 6 wins the Sec do they become a member or does the least successful of the 6 is bump off list?

The big 6 is set in stone.

We all know what matters though. The big 4.

Alabama, LSU, Florida, and Auburn carry this conference on our backs.

The big 4 are uga, auburn, Tenn, and bama.

Big 4 because those are the rivalries for which the entire conference has to suffer scheduling and alignment maladies.

The big six is set until one of the little eight can win an SEC championship again

Shouldn't there be 7 now since we went from 12 to 14?

Big Six, lol. Try Big One, Bama has carried this conference the last 5 seasons.

Being a part of this group is going to be LSU's only victory (and a moral one at that) this year post aggy sweep, 2016 edition.

Once they win the conference a few times or a natty then we can discuss it.

Kentucky won a share of the SEC Title in 1976 with UGA, going 5-1 in conference.

Since 1976, only 6 teams have won an SEC Championship:
Alabama
Auburn
Florida
LSU
Tennessee
UGA

This is the Big 6 and it will continue to remain that way unless one of the other 8 teams can ever win a SEC Championship again (or even for the first time like A&M, Mizzou or Arkansas).

this is basically what you need to know. Until these 6 begin losing ground to the others in all the big categories, I'd say everyone is stuck with us 6ers for a while.

Ole Miss? 6 SEC titles (only 2 behind Auburn and Florida) and a couple of recognized national titles. They're also top 10 in bowl wins somehow.
