It's still a very good football conference even without the PAC schools and is one of the best if not THE best basketball conference. I knew it would outlast the PAC. Probably will outlast the ACC too.

So Utah wants to stay in a depleted conference ? Makes no sense.....

Utah should be the first team pout the door...

Yeah I thought that this move made REAL sense for them, especially with BYU already in. If Colorado, Arizona and ASU leave they are really the odd man out in what is left of the PAC, Oregon and Washington will land elsewhere. I also find it unusual that only three are leaving, is the B12 trying to leave a spot open for Oregon in case of a longshot? I don't think this guy knows anything more than anyone else, I think the B12 gets Utah/Col/AU/ASU and possibly 2 more.

Actually, their best chance to survive might be to do so without Texas.
Bingo.

The fact that Colorado is returning now that Texas is gone, should tell you all you need to know.

As much as I'd like to agree with you, I know a few Buff fans, and their viewpoint is sheer desperation, they don't want to be left without the chair when the music ends.

The PAC like the big 10 wanted to cancel college football due to covid. Sec, big 12 and ACC held firm. It's a given that the pac will fall because their leadership is incredibly ignorant, clueless and feckless.
