I came here to build something special, to try to get something they never had... They've shown me that they are going to hunt this thing down... I think we won 3 games last year against ranked opponents, this is number 4. I put that against anybody in the country. I don't know anybody in the country in this time frame [who] has beat 4 opponents on the road ranked as high as they have been. -Bret Bielema after the TCU game

Because its Arkansas. Not a flame but its hard to get to that elite level where a name can bump you up a few spots. Its doable but it takes years and decades and once you get there its easy to stay. Just look at Michigan they haven't done squat outside of a natty 20 years ago and they get that bump. Just my opinion but I think with Bert 9-10 wins and the occasional top5 appearance is the limit.

L5U is not on the same level as Bama even with a "real" QB. Which no one even knows foe sure if that's the case in the first place. 1 quatery of decent Play doesn't make a QB, especially when the next 2 quarters were tremendously underwhelming.

Nope. The year we went to the Sugar Bowl we were very much in the discussion. Whatever our recent success, being in the SEC will warrant notoriety if the wins are there. Some may bump sooner than others based on a name, but if the wins are there it won't take long even for Arkansas.
