Bianco may bolt for another open job

He does his best work when his job is on the line. Both times he’s made Omaha were get there or see you later.

Keith Carter knows how to motivate him.

Also this is the sec. You don’t reward 8-22.

When Bianco is no longer coaching at Ole Miss, he will be retired in Oxford. He’s almost 60 and has been at Ole Miss a quarter century. He’s got plenty of money, 5 kids, and will have grandchildren soon enough. I’m sure he’d love to spend time with all of them. He’s not starting over somewhere else.

And he’s not bolting for another job on his own. The only job he’d have considered was LSU if they offered, for obvious reasons

I like Mike personally and the family. I was really surprised he didn't retire last year. I think it would have been poetic to retire last year on a high. They will never hurt for money. He could have taken a cushy desk job if he wanted to stay active.

He’s 56 years old. He probably has a few years left in him if Ole Miss wants him.

25 years is the magic number. He would draw a state pension at 25 years which pays for the remainder of his life. Considering he has been making a good salary for most of that 25 years he will be getting a sizeable monthly payment from the State of MS for life. % of the combined highest 3 years. Bianco would be getting around $90k a month for life from the state of MS. If you make 27 years, you get a 13th check every year.

He is not doing anything on his own until 2025, if OM were to move on, I would think he would take a BS admin job at OM to get that benefit.

Bianco has not been rolled over several times in his career. Two of the time resulted in Omaha trips the next day and by no means hurt recruiting.
