Even the guys that have proven to have the best sources are getting this wrong. People are getting fed a bunch of shite for some reason whether it's on purpose or the search is just that chaotic.

I lean towards chaotic because of the Ole Miss reaction. I know they had convos with another coach about the potential (or impending then) opening.
I know the Bertman camp is still pushing Mike hard.

There was never a rush, that's why I thought all the smoke around Bianco and Casey being hired right away were bullshite.
They aren't going anywhere and there are no other high profile jobs open.

There have also been rumblings that Woodward was trying to plug a leak. No idea if Casey/Bianco were part of that “sting operation,” but it certainly seems plausible.
It certainly appears people were fed bad information on purpose.
