Easily Columbia, SC. Lexington is kind of meh, but como is just not interesting. too many gas station robberies, murders, and of course 18-22 yr old kids in diapers. Not ugly wimenz though.

Florida will never know what it's like to play Kentucky while Keeneland is running because it might be too cold

I mean, 30 in a row would likely make any fan base salty but do you think UF controls the SEC schedule?

Missouri. I'd try to go to a SKC or Blues game while I was up there.

I looked over the Gator schedule and I think you should go to Lexington while your season is still young and full of hope. After that game you're most likely 2-2 or 1-3 and you won't be in the mood to travel after that.

Mizzou. I've been to twice. It was cold as shite the first time and an 11am gametime, and the second time it was a little bit more enjoyable since I went to St. Louis for a Cubs-Cards NLDS game, as well as Kansas City for a Chiefs-Bears game. Still, the city of Columbia was boring as shite and the bar scene was terrible.
Huh, we we're both at the NLDS and Zou-Gator games.
November 4th won't exactly be warm this year, but it'll probably good football weather.
I tried checking StL concert calander and the Blues Travelers will be in town, but on the day of the game. I'm sure more will be announced toward the end of the summer. Lots of good places to eat and visit in town, although the violence in the hood parts of town is out of control.
If you decide to come here post on our board and the guys will give you good recommendations.

Well a Mizzy fan would be an expert on disappointing sports seasons.

Uscjr game if you've been to all 3, and HAVE to go to one. I see that a negative of the back to back lsu home games is affecting a fans mojo. You going to the Michigan game? I'm mostly in the travel to new locations stage at this point. Getting close to the stage of finding good epic match ups in or out of the SEC. Places I would like to visit, and experience a new college game day experience.
*Side note: cant wait to hear aggie stories from traveling to gville. Ha. Good chance the bama-lsu teabagging incident gets dethroned.

SC... depending on the game time, you could spend the night before in Charleston (1.5 hour drive from Cola), and then the night after the game in Columbia.

Yeah. I'm going to Dallas. That'll be a fun way to kick off the season. Just crazy we only have 3 away games. I blame LSU for that for holding our game hostage last year and forcing us to play the game in Baton Rouge. Not a big deal though. I'll probably choose South Carolina as my one true away game to attend this season.

Come to the UK game and go to Keeneland before the game and then take the bus back to the game.

Then you've either never been there, or fricked up big time.

I went to some of the suggested places you Mizzou fans recommended last time. The only cool bar was that 3 story one, forgot the name.
Posted on 6/3/17 at 9:43 am to ForeverGator
thats not even a top 5 bar, and they tore it down. Ive now been to usc, uf and athens. Athens is extremely similar to como, literally in every aspect. Its probably why I loved it there.
Columbia SC was just awful. Big 12 level.

They tore it down? Didn't seem that old.
Posted on 6/3/17 at 10:01 am to ForeverGator
They've built a TON of off campus apartments over the last two years. That was one of the sites.
Posted on 6/3/17 at 10:04 am to mizslu314
Also a lot of new bars in como over the last two years.

We didn't have a petting zoo.

at no point in time did it feel like a college town. A lot like every b12 school. Lawrence is the only collegeish town in the b12 and they hate football. Manhattan, lubbock, waco, ames, when you're there it just feels like theres no football program in that city.
