I made the trip to Little Rock this year and all I saw was fat women drinking Natties and bean bag tossing. I hated it

Cornhole is a very methodical game and along with drinking can be very fun. You need to come to TTown and get a good tailgating experience under your belt.

WLOCP > Iron Bowl. If the Iron Bowl went back to "neutral site" and 50/50, the Iron Bowl would be the best.

It's nice to play the games on campus, but the Iron Bowl lost a lot when the split tickets ended.

Wouldn't recommend Legion Field. They ran out of hotdogs by the second quarter. The second. fricking. quarter.

Going into it I knew it wasn't going to be that good. I got past it being in the hood and all that stuff but when they fricked with my hotdogs that did it for me

frick Birmingham for letting Legion Field go to shite. It used to be one of the best venues in college football and they just let it ruin. But I am glad Bama doesnt play in Bham anymore because it is in a bad part of town.

Legion field was adequate thirty years ago, not so much now, so Alabama doesn't really have a good site for off campus games now.

It will never happen, but if the two schools would go 50/50 each year for Iron bowl, that would be step in right direction. Today's version of Iron bowl is nothing compared to the "old games"

The place still has potential. It just needs upgrades in a lot of places and a better area around it. They wouldn't do any of this for UAB though

frick no they wont because the team averages 3-4 wins each year and only sells ~5,000 tickets.

Maybe if both Bama and Auburn expressed interest in playing there occasionally that would be enough reason for them to improve it some.

The Grove when LSU comes to town is very underrated. It's fricking crazy.

The Grove before and after the game in 2009 was the best I have ever experienced it

It's the exact same thing as the quad

The only difference between the Quad and the Grove is that cops don't run around pestering tailgaters and pouring out alcohol on the Quad. People on the Quad are also a little less uppity than people on the Grove.

I've been to both/

At the Iron Bowl, you can feel the hate hanging in the air. However, tailgating is your run of the mill SEC tailgating.

The WLOCP is called a party for a reason. I know people that get down there a weekend prior to the game. Golf at Sea Island and Amelia Island. Drunk fistfights all week at the Landing. Both Schools take a "Fall Break" and don't have class on the Thursday and Friday before the game because they know people won't be there anyway. The game is the culmination of partying your arse for a week. The WLOCP wins this walking away.

This is really easy as the UGer said above. WLOCP is just amazing if you haven't been. The RV lots are filled with fans of both schools and it's a weeklong party. I've never had issues with other fans but I don't get hammered and talk shite either. I've only witnessed one bad fan and I snatched his collar and asked him why he would risk jail to talk shite to another fan or even get his arse beat. His friends left him there with me to receive his fatherly advice alone.

I will give them that if you don't know what you're doing, you can end up tailgating under an overpass.

As others have said, the WLOCP is very unique. I'm not able to "judge tailgating" but the whole weekend is just very unique.

One theory I have about Thanksgiving weekend games is that they somehow lose a little bit of their atmosphere. Obviously Bama/Auburn, Florida/Florida State, etc. are huge rivalry games, but the big Thanksgiving weekend games seem to lose a little bit of their luster with me for some reason.

Give me a late October/early November on campus game for maximum "big" feel.
