I would have to put LSU at the very top. To be honest BDS is good but nowhere near the best, not even in the SEC.
I don't know how to say this without it sounding incredibly arrogant but you're simply not going to see an impressive atmosphere in BDS if you're a visiting Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Vandy, or Kentucky, or in prior years a South Carolina fan. The ONLY notable exception to this was the 1999 Alabama/Mississippi State game when State came into BDS as a Top 10 team with the SEC West on the line. That was one of the louder games I can remember in BDS. You have to be there for a Auburn, Florida, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, or major non-conference game to get a really good atmosphere. The same could probably be said for the other Big 6 SEC stadiums when Ole Miss visits.
P.S. I do agree with LSU deserving to be near the top of the list though.

I've been to an Indiana football game and can honestly say I have had better stadium experiences at high school games. Bad list.
An Ohio State game at Indiana is much more like a home game than a road game.

As much as I hate to say it, the eagle flying in Jordan Hare is one of the best stadium experiences in the country. Tiger Stadium at night is ridiculous as well. Its hard to match BDS during Rammer Jammer though.

wait, do they have an airport or do i have to ride my horse to town?
Both.
The airport is a good 5-10 miles north of the city. From there you have to rent a horse.
And when you need to return your horse with a full stomach of hay, there's only one feedlot near the airport. So you need to purchase the hay prepay option.
(The latter is only semi-joking; I've traveled to Lubbock on business--there is only one gas station within five miles of the airport where you can fill up a rental car before returning it.)

Not sure whether I'm laughing harder at this list or the moronic Aggie in this thread
LSU puts on as good a show as anywhere.

#5, gimme a break. I had a blast in Fayetnam, but NO WAY it's top 5.
Inside the stadium is pretty badass, but our tailgating is horrible compared to the rest of the SEC.

Aside from the comical rankings, his ability to write a quality piece is embarrassing.
I can't disagree, but one could argue this happens at every football stadium ya? Also, is he implying to nobody takes to the seat at BDS to watch pre-game? I would imagine that's NOT the case with Bama fans. I love that piece of LSU football.

After the team and coaches enter the stadium, everyone starts funneling into Bryant-Denny Stadium and the cheerleaders start whipping the crowd into a frenzy. The team comes out of the tunnel and the stadium shakes!

Attending a game at LSU's Tiger Stadium is an experience you will never forget. It is like attending Mardi Gras, a Voodoo Ceremony, and a college football game all in the same day!
He must have had a really bad time at Mardi Gras...or perhaps he's never been. But if I am going to attend something that I will never forget, I sure as shite won't put it as #24 of my list of things I will never forget.

The atmosphere in BDS wasn't even that impressive when a Top 10 Mississippi State team came in this past year. Over the last 5 years, I'd probably have to rank the atmospheres like so:
1. 2009 LSU - Incredibly loud the whole game. The 4th quarter was INSANE.
2. 2008 Auburn - The electricity running through the stadium in the 4th quarter was just incredible
3. 2011 LSU - For a "Game of the Century" I totally expected this to be #1. Maybe the low-scoring nature of the game had something to do with it.
4. 2010 Florida - A Top 10 Florida team, coached by Urban Meyer, in a night game. Classic.
5. 2011 Arkansas - Probably the most fun I've had at an Alabama game up to this point thus far. The crowd was in the game, too.

The fact Davis Wade Stadium did not crack the top 15 on this list is a joke. When the stadium is full of raucous fans ringing cowbells, it's tough to top.

The 1st quarter was loud but it went down hill after that. I personally never thought we had a chance in the game and, when Ingram fumbled the ball that went through the end zone for a touch back, I called game. We were up 21-0 at that point.

The only reason Kyle Field was even mentioned in the entire article was because the Rainbow Coalition threatened a discrimination suit if he left them out.

Sounded pretty loud from where I was sittin'.
And y'all were ahead for most of the game. The Bama fans were definitely getting frustrated as the game went on, but they didn't get less rowdy. One of the loudest moments of the game was when Auburn muffed the punt and Bama got it in the 3rd quarter.
