Why is Baton Rouge, Starkvegas, Columbia (which one?), et. all, the best college town in the SEC?

The criteria is history, school, institutions around school, nightlife, teams and accomplishments, famous people from the area, good food, and everything I missed.

Good "the season is coming soon" fodder...

Do your best.

BR. Great food, great history, beautiful campus, ravenous fans, and as much as ppl talk down on it the night life in revamped down town is a damn good time. I'm not from BR by the way but enjoy it every time I visit.

Knoxville:
The men are stronger and have bigger dicks.
The women are better looking and have bigger tits.
The children are smarter and have brighter futures.

I think most college towns are interchangeable.

Athens is the best, but Lexington should be up near the top. It's underrated. Bourbon, craft beer breweries, and thoroughbred horse racing, 25 cent beer night at minor league baseball games, low crime rate, one of the most educated cities in the country.

I'd say Nashville is the best SEC town and Athens is the best college town

Athens has the most bars, pretty women, scenic downtown, great music, and some good eateries. There's no debate on who's the best college town in the southeast.

I've never been to BR but I have to believe it is awesome, and second only to Athens, and that's subjective on my part.
