Laron Landry still gives those two Bama QBs nightmares I bet.

I know Laron killed Brody Croyle; did he get another one?
It was Chad Jones who took out Sarah Jessica John Parker Wilson in 2007.

I always liked watching Landry play and the speed he showed on that Croyle sack was out of this world. But for 15 years y’all have built that play into something that doesn’t match reality. It really wasn’t this monster hit. Solid knock down absolutely, but that’s it. If Croyle has nightmares it’s from the Auburn game that season.

Yeah that was a thing of beauty. Chad Jones decleating that Arkansas wr coming over the middle in 07 was absolutely filthy.

1) Eric Berry
2) LaRon Landry
3) Terry Hoage
4) Mark Barron
5) Reggie Nelson
Now if we are talking greatest ever from teams currently in the SEC, then Steve Atwater is #1, and everyone drops a spot.

Mark Barron was a strong safety. If we're going free safety, then Eddie Jackson deserves to be mentioned.

Deon Grant deserves a mention

Who?
Chad Jonesss.

I was going to mention Atwater with the caveat that the Hogs weren't in the SEC at the time.
One of my favorites to watch was rather unheralded, Rashad Johnson. Always seemed to be in the right place, right time. Not a big masher, and probably doesn't belong on an all-time list, but he had some huge picks for the Tide.

One is tough enough. Add it to my list.

Reggie Nelson. It's too bad he was always on shitty teams in the NFL.

You mean the illegal hit in 09 when Joe Adams got up first and played the next play and Chad didn't.

Knocking the frick out of someone is not illegal.
The ref threw a pity flag when Jones' head was clearly across.
