Aaron Murray, John Manziel, or AJ McCarron.....no clear winner just curious what kind of a debate there is and how the system they play in would effect their success this season. We still have 12 more weeks till kickoff fellas.

AJ & Aaron are almost mirror images of eachother.

The question on Johnny is = Can he do it again?

We'll find out in 12 weeks.

As long as Purrier is coaching USCe, he will be the best.

I like AJ in our offense. I would take Murray second in the same offense. Manziel is good, just not for the pro-style

AJ has a higher completion percentage, less INTs, two rings, wins the big games, and his sexuality isn't in question.

I like Murray, but I'd say they're not that similar.

Depends on team.

Murray would be better in A&M's offense than AJ.

What would Bama or UGA look like with Manziel?

Probably the one that won the Heisman as a freshmen and beat AJ in his own house, but maybe I'm biased

UGA hasn't played Johnny Football, yet...

But Spurrier never beat UGA as a QB.
AJ has 1 big-time win for his club.

I'm looking forward to a rematch against Bama, this season (tells you all you need to know about Spurrier, this year).

Or maybe it's the one that has two rings as a starter. Matter of fact, AJ has more total rings than he has losses as a starter.

So the loss to Manziel s more statistically significant than National Championships?

tend to agree with this. Manziel needs a free flowing open offense to succeed. I think he'd be good in any offense, but not elite in the Bama/UGA offenses because his arm is limited.

But I also think Bama or UGA would change their offense a bit for a guy like Manziel. And I think A&M would revamp ours with a guy like AJ or Murray. I think the recruit (Kyle Allen) we just picked up is more like AJ than Manziel for sure. So it will be interesting to see down the line.

So every NFL QB with a ring is better than, say, Dan Marino?

Never understood the logic of letting rings be the end all be all for who is "best" at a given position.

It's truly the worst argument in sports.
