ala the PAC 12 type strategy

I'd hate to use this as a model considering how awful the PAC is at the major sports.

TA&M is by far the greatest challenge to UF in Athletic Department excellence.

2009 was the turning point for A&M as far as this thread goes.

Football: 2009 was the last losing season. Since then, they've gone 76-41 with a shared Division Title (2010), 4 top 25 finishes (2010, 2012, 2013, 2018), one top 5 finish (2012) and a 5-4 bowl record.

Men's Basketball: Tournament team in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2016 and 2018. Conference Title in 2016

Women's Basketball: Tournament appearance every season, conference tournament champions in 2010 and 2013, national champion in 2011.

Baseball: Tournament appearance every season, conference champions in 2011, conference tournament champions in 2010, 2011 and 2016, CWS appearances in 2011 and 2017

Softball: Never missed the postseason, although that likely changes this year.

Volleyball: SEC Champions in 2013

Track: Men's and Women's outdoor national champions in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Men's national champions in 2013 and Women's national champions in 2014

Golf: Men's Golf won the 2009 national championship

Soccer: 7 combined regular season and tournament conference titles since 2009. College Cup appearance in 2014.

Swimming: Women's swimming has won 7 conference titles (4 in the SEC) since 2009

I love our new AD, but I've heard he's pretty focused on the big-3 and not much else.

To be fair, it is what he needs to be focused on right now. The big three need to be consistent to bring in the revenue to allow for investment in the other programs.

I’ve always been jealous of Florida’s AD. Every year they are good in almost every sport.

Agreed. Best all around athletic department in the SEC and has been that way for a long long time

It’s been quite the run for them since the 80s

Are Gator fans happy with the way Stricklin is running things? I don’t see where there would be any complaints. Just curious.

My god I’m trembling at the thought of jizz capacity in the irl Director’s Cup.
