It’s better for LSU to lose to Auburn for clear reasons.

1. It would keep Gus at Auburn and all our rivals want that.
2. It would give the LSU team much more focus next week in a must win game vs the tide.
3. LSU can still win out and go to the SECC game and playoffs. Auburn is probably going to lose to bammer and/or georgia anyway.
4. It would show how strong the SEC is around the country and help our bowl positioning. Auburn beat LSU who beat bammer. LSU beat Florida who beat Auburn.
5. It would be good for Bo Nix’s confidence as a young QB. He is going to have to prop up the league next year and needs a good road win to help him psychologically.
6. Coach O already has two wins over Auburn. Going 3-0 is just being greedy.

An Auburn win just makes sense for everyone.

Wishful thinking. What is best is for us to win out.

Negative. It's never good for LSU to lose. Ever.

This could very well be the most asinine post of the year but there's still a couple of months to go.

I certainly don’t want LSU to lose this weekend, but fact is it wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen to us should we.
Everything we want would still be obtainable

Your dumbass contract will keep Gus there.

It’s gonna be 1 vs 2. Essentially a playoff game. We’ll be focused.

This is true but frick that.

The frick is this dumb shite? The SEC has 5 top 10 teams and the #1 and #2 team in the country. Best way to get 2 sec teams in the playoffs is for LSU and Bama to keep winning.

Don’t worry, Myles Brennan will throw 30 TDs next year
