It's almost a crime that Tennessee only won 1 national championship during their run. Spurrier just had their number.

1995 : 11-1
1996 : 10-2
1997 : 11-2
1998 : 13-0

5 losses in 4 years. 3 of them to Florida. 1 to Nebraska. And of course, 1 to Memphis.

1 upvote and 4 downvotes for a post about 10-year successful runs in college football.

Seriously, this board is a steaming pile of dogshit. 90% of the posters here have the IQ of a grape and millimeter thick skin.

Tennessee had talent all over the field during those years. I hated their asses but they were talented

If you just do 2008 - 2015 (assuming a win Monday, which is a big assumption)

8 year period (2008 - 2015)
98-12 (89.1%)
4 SEC Titles
4 National Titles

The Manning teams had incredible skill guys, great linemen on both sides, great college linebackers and the greatest QB in football history.

I didn't care to upvote or downvote your post but now that you bring it up and are crying about it, I'll downvote this post and the OP.

The fact that three of these stretches simultaneously occurred in the 70's is impressive. Talk about some unstoppable forces

LOL, not crying about it, just incredible how often serious discussion gets tossed to the side so we can do more AGGY RUSTLED threads. I mean, I participate in those as well sometimes, but a blend of both is good. 100% total tard is just nauseating.

Why would you start at 2006 when Shula was still coach?

And Georgia had a helluva 5 year run in the late 70s and early 80s as well, kind of like Miami in the early-mid 2000's.

"Best 10-year long run"

A lot of these runs occur over a couple of coaches.

Imagine a playoff with the same four or five teams competing for a consecutive half-decade. Thank goodness they didn't have message boards back then
