Bert deserves to be fired more than Butch

Arky can do better. Im not sure UT can. The days of UT competing for championships are over. Butch is a clown and i support his firing for that reason, but you arent going to get much better on field performance than what he gives you Vols.
Bert is getting out-recruited and outcoached at every level. Arky is going NOWHERE until he is gone. They can do better with an offensive coach who spreads the field. You cant win at arky trying to be Les Miles era LSU.

I don't make the decisions but I've noted your concern.

He really isn't being out-recruited, the team has talent, although young talent on both sides of the ball.
That is the real problem...

You could have posted (no message) and you would still be right

He's out recruiting Vanderbilt and Missouri. He's drawing even with State and Kentucky.
Arkansas' talent isn't anywhere close to the level needed to compete for anything more than 7/8 win seasons if it all lines up.

His scheme can only work if you recruit at least top 15 every year.

Pigs should hire Les Miles.

Correct. This wouldnt be as big a deal if he ran the spread to help out his players. With the offense they have, they need more talent to make it work.
Which he cant deliver.

He'd be a perfect fit, plus the SEC needs Les Miles, dammit.

We’ll save him for the Aggies when Sumlin moves on in a few years. Always bein neighborly!

Arkansas has talent you've never seen.
And that is the problem...
He doesn't play the best players because they only show up 5 minutes early to a 4 am meeting instead of 45 minutes...

On top of the fact that I don't think he even knows what he wants them to be anymore.
Enos is a really good OC, but when he brought him in and started throwing more they completely lost their identity. Within 3 years they couldn't run the football at all and were basically a pass first 1 back team.

I said here point blank when he was hired at Arky that they would be terrible under him, and was laughed off this forum because "he was such a great hire". Hell, almost everyone here was dropping to their knees over the hire, and how he was the second best coach in the SEC.
To my original point when the hire was made, Arkansas is at a recruiting disadvantage. They have to have an innovative offense to compete in the SEC. It's geography and demographics. Fayetteville is a nice place, it's just on an island comparative.

Oh, ok. That makes sense.

That’s why Bobby Petrino was a perfect fit. As Mike Leach would be a perfect hire.

Pay him the big bucks. He's been on the verge for years now.

Yeah I would love to have Gundy, but I think Captain Integrity waited too long for this one. He just makes too much sense as well. Jeff Long would frick it all up.
