Maybe, but TJ is so common now. Seems like everyone gets it at least once eventually.

all i saw was really fast fastballs. Does he throw anything else? Never saw him pitch before

he has multiple different fastballs and they have 18 inches of run coming in at 100+. He doesn't really need other pitches in his role tbh

His mechanics are exceptionally efficient. Throwing that hard comes with inherent risks but I’d say he has as good of odds as anyone who throws that hard to stay healthy

He had TJ his sophomore year prior to coming to UT. He throws harder after TJ than he did prior to TJ

Fastballs are fine when you have that much run. Id guess he has something else though

That was my first thought. I imagine as he continues his MLB career he will develop a few more pitches, but damn Chapman made a living on his fastball and Id guess Ben will do the same.
