I just find it odd that with everyone in this thread, the only 2 people that caught that are rocking my sigs.
Maybe it's bc we actually read. Then we take it a step further and actually comprehend what we read

There is nothing unfair about a perennially top SEC team in LSU playing an equal team in UF every year. What isn't fair is asking a OM or MSU team to play them every year.
What in the Hell is it about people in the state of Alabama having no fricking brains? We aren't asking to trade permanent opponents with Ole Miss. We're asking to do away with permanent opponents altogether and rotate the other division through two spots instead of one, so we can play them with reasonable frequency.

Jesus, why not just have LSU join the Big east and get the auto BCS invite every year, wouldn't THAT be ideal?
I suggested this earlier, fwiw.

Why would those changes make Alabama and Auburn fans happy?

True and the Florida-UT and Florida-UGA games would be preserved... I see no other way to maintain all the rivalries... LSU would like it because they would be basically swapping TAMU for Bama and Mizzo for Auburn.. LSU gets to keep its rivalry with Arkie. Plus you can go to a true 6-2, so in most years, LSU would play against good teams from the east..

And people wonder why LSU can't find a rival.

Funny that you use OUR. As I posted earlier:

What the really messed up thing about all of this is, if UT got moved into the West, Bama would sell out the Deep South's oldest rivalry in a heartbeat. The Gumps, Mountain Gumps, Barners, and Puppies are aligned right now, but let's not pretend that isn't in self-interest. The second Bama is offered a solution that preserves the third saturday game, they will gladly put all of the nails in the coffin of the Deep South's oldest rivalry and carry that casket to the grave yard.

They seem to have a really hard time with reading comprehension. Crimsonsaint in particular

You shouldn't throw stones in glass houses. LA isn't full of Einsteins.

Doesn't preserve the traditional rivalries, but I love the idea of relegation. We would call the lower division "the East."

looks more like you're trying to run away from the Florida game FWIW.

Still unfair to LSU.. Would have to play either Bama, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Kentucky every year in Atlanta.. Unacceptable..
Division I
Kentucky
LSU
Ole Miss
Mississippi State
Missouri
Texas A&M
Vanderbilt
Division II
Alabama
Arkansas
Auburn
Florida
Georgia
South Carolina
Tennessee
Expect the LSU AD and Miles to submit this recommendation for re-alignment.
