How happy would you all be?

Would it revive college football for a lot of people?

I’m an Alabama fan and even the thought of having to build back up a little excites me. The best two years of my life as an Alabama fan were 09 and 11. The feeling of arriving back onto the national scene was just incredible.

Hell would freeze over? Why waste thought on something that will never happen?

Chicken really needs to install a policy that you must be an active member for two years before allowing topic posting privileges.

What’s wrong with talking about football on a football forum? I’m confused...

Most of us would be scared shitless probably.

If the NCAA can go big game hunting and win, then that means we’re all going to get fricked on.

But the NCAA is full of pussies who won’t hurt their cash cows, so.

This is a good point, but man I think if anything it would be the biggest scandal in sports history if the NCAA was allowing them to get away with stuff for the sake of money.

Which is why you shouldn’t have topic posting privileges.

Saban's got the NCAA in his back pocket. Ever notice how any kind of story about Bama potentially getting in trouble disappears quickly? Remember the 2013 DJ Fluker controversy, for example?

I think it hurts our conference anytime a team gets put on probation I would not want them to be hit with sanctions But they will be safe because they cannot beat themselves two years in a row. That’s a warning to Auburn that if you win again this year the NCAA will show up....

I could not have schadenfreude about any SEC team, or college football team. if they deserve getting slapped for serious cheating, well, that's just the way it goes.

but we all know that it could happen to our team, even if the staff and administration weren't participating. a goofy booster could screw you.

there, but for the Grace of Yahweh, go I.

I would rather find out that Bama has not been providing impermissible benefits to players and recruits. It would be a little depressing to find out Saban has been doing all of this on the up and up, but I would enjoy the games more if that could ever be proven.

If Bama were to get caught cheating and receive sanctions, that would be disappointing, and would taint this past decade of SEC dominance.
