1. LSU W
2. Oklahoma State L
3. Alabama W
4. Oregon L
5. Oklahoma L
6. Arkansas W
7. Clemson L

What a day for the SEC WEST. It doesnt matter who wins the LSU vs Arkansas game. The winner will play Alabama in the all SEC National Championship.

It doesnt matter who wins because it will be either LSU/Arkansas vs Bama for the BCSNC.

Top 3 best teams in college football hands down.

Why are you so confident that a 1 loss Bama or Arkansas get in ahead of a 1 loss LSU?

Yeah, but the winner of LSU/Arkansas still has to beat Georgia in Atlanta.

Alabama will just wait for them.

not necessarily...if Arkansas beat LSU and Bama beats Auburn, then Bama goes to the SEC championship. Arkansas would be in the BCS title game.

If Bama lost to Georgia, LSU may be able to sneak into the title game...crazy stuff.

I still think Arkansas is worse than their record indicates. They've struggled against pretty bad teams.

When BCS rankings are released for the next week..

1) LSU
2) Alabama
3) Arkansas
4) Okie St (will jump Arkansas with a win over OU)

No one else matters at this point.

If LSU loses to Arkansas then that would mean they have 1 loss on the season matching that of Alabama. Since LSU won head to head against Alabama, they would still go to the SEC Championship to play Georgia. Thats the reason Georgia is going because even though they beat Georgia. South Carolina has 2 loses in the SEC and Georgia has just 1.

LSU is a lock for the ncg. Will either be Arkansas or Bama.

I actually think it might look like this:

1) LSU
2) Alabama
3) Okie St.
4) Arkansas

With Okie St still having the ability to jump Bama provided they win bedlam and the big 12. Long shot but that's what the human polls will want.

Doesn't all this mean that the SECCG isn't really the SECCG?

I think it will be Alabama. If Bama wins the Iron Bowl they will be the #2 because they beat Arkansas earlier in the season. I think regardless if LSU loses to Arkansas they will still be in the SEC Championship game and get the #1 ranking with Bama holding the #2. Kind of like in 2007 when LSU lost to arkansas and still played for the SEC championship and the National Championship.

False. OSU is already out of the picture. Their loss to Iowa State is a major blow to their chances. They also still have to play Oklahoma which could put them at 2 loses for the season.

no way a POS Iowa State team beating Okie State puts them at 4 -- someone should punt them if they do that?
