Ray Tanner should never have been hired as AD. He can't even maintain the one sport he's good at. Hiring Holbrook was risky and keeping him as long as he did was nothing more than the good ol' boy system at work...the same system that landed him the AD position to begin with.

Just rubbing it in when the opportunity arises. Your team looked pretty good at the Supers last year. They were the only team competitive with us at Baum so I think this coach is a lot better than Holbrook at least

Kingston is leaps and bounds better than Holbrook. The program was left in a heaping pile of cow shite when Holbrook was fired. The fact that he has to rebuild a program that won back to back titles and then were runner-ups the next year before Holbrook took over and trashed it says all that needs to be said. Hell, Holbrook wasn't even HC for that long. He totally burned it down.

He's washed away the goodwill of 2 CWS titles. We haven't beaten Clemson in a Big 3 sport since 2015. He's a bumpkin running a an industry worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Frick him.

I've met him at functions down here and he is, but he can be a conniving SOB. He blackmailed his way into the job by threatening to resign as baseball coach if he wasn't hired as AD. I can't forgive him for that, because he isn't fit to be a CEO.

Pay no attention to KS. Its the start of his mating season and he's trying to improve his standing in the herd.
As for South Carolina baseball... I feel y'all's pain. Being an Arkansas fan I know that when we begin to do great in one sport a nameless dread begins to form... how will it all go completely to shite this time?
Its time to look for a new AD for USC as well. Not beating your in state rival in any major men's sport since 2015 is as a disaster.
