20. Auburn (26)
22. Alabama (27)
25. South Carolina (29)

Collegiate Baseball’s
National Players Of The Week

RHP Paul Skenes, Louisiana St.: Skenes dominated Butler with 13 strikeouts over 6 innings and only allowed 1 hit and no runs with no walks. He allowed a 2-out single in the first inning and then retired 16 straight Butler hitters to complete his outing. It was the most amount of strikeouts by an LSU pitcher since 2018.

3B Colby Shelton, Alabama: Shelton hit 5 home runs over 4 games with 1 double and 12 RBI as he went 7-for-15 with 7 runs scored.

RHP Sam Hliboki, Vanderbilt: Hliboki combined with three other Vanderbilt pitchers to fire a 4-0 no-hitter against Minnesota. He struck out 8 batters over 3 2/3 innings with 1 walk.

Add D1. Very little movement except on the back end.

Why does A&M continue to drop in BA's poll?

Iowa has looked pretty good this year. They laid an egg against Sam Houston but they have been against everyone else.

I’m well aware I’m alluding to the fact that many fans acted like losing to Iowa was like losing to a high school and LSU should go 56-0.

Yes they are. They've always had a strong perverted ACC bias followed closely by a PAC 12 favoritism but ... lately they've really shown their SEC hatred.

They've been that way for 25 years though so it's really nothing new.

Florida at 6 seems a little low tbh but I understand why you can’t really move them above anyone in the top 5.

Our pitching is getting rocked (and very injured) in non conference. I can't fathom when we hit conference play.

Impossible. The extremely knowledgeable Tenner fans said they wouldn’t even make the tourney.

D1 Baseball doesn't overreact enough. This is boring as hell. I need Kendall and Fitt to react far more wildly to mid-week losses & close weekend series wins.

Wake Forest at 5 seems low too, but no one is losing. Louisville was the big mover this week, they played lights out in Texas.

Also, 5 North Carolina teams in the top 25 with the addition of Campbell.

Can I interest you in Collegiate Baseball? 10 SEC teams ranked. Tenner back up to 3 from 6 for beating a 1 win Zaga yet Florida drops 4 spots with a series win over Miami.

Collegiate Baseball has always seemed like a joke. Thought they had a west coast bias but haven't read it In a long time. The D1 Rankings are the best IMO.
