Baseball guys help me re swing and miss strikes on fastballs.

Watching the CWS it seems to me that a ton of missed swings on fastballs show the bat going UNDER the ball. So is it:

1. Fastballs are rising more these days.
2. It's just a function of better camera work.
3. I'm just imagining the whole thing.

Fastballs don’t really rise from a typical arm slot. They just fall less, your eyes will make it seem like it rises.

Batters expecting the elevation change and pitch stays flat. Probably missing four seamers when you see that.

You're getting an angle from center that is slightly off line. It's likely just the angle/plane we're seeing it from.
