That is absurd.
I think softball is the only sport I can remember the SEC owning that many top spots in recently.
Alabama is the #23 team in the country.
That puts them #9 in the SEC.

Any team that gets 15 runs and still loses should not be ranked in the top 5.

You can be excused for not knowing this, but Ole Miss is at or near number one at the start of every season. They usually close it by losing to a team like UCF in their own regional. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I’m surprised we moved up to 2 considering we struggled with Tulane. Yes we took 2/3 but easily could have been swept.
I do think Tulane is legit they played crisp ball and their starting pitching was really good

They haven't made a regional since 2016. They were also in it in 2015, but before that it's a nice little gap again.
Now the early and mid 2000s Tulane was pretty damn good.
