Bammers, how would you feel about losing Sark?

Obviously, the man has been great for yall and will get his chance to be a head coach again (maybe even at South Carolina).

Are y'all worried about losing him or do you feel more like Alabama's offensive success lately is due more to the retarded amount of great players Coach Saban pulls in?

I feel like its due more to the recruiting and that Sark simply adds to it more than the other way around but curious to hear what you baws think.

That'd be something if a Saban tree coach is replaced by another one in the SEC.

Like when UF hired McElwain to replace Muschamp?

Damn, I'd forgotten about that.

Saban has dudes everywhere.

As long as we replace him with Steve Ensminger, the brains behind the 2019 LSU offense, we’ll be just fine.

It would suck. Sark made a lot of improvements to our offense beyond just production. I trust Saban, but he is not infallible in hiring assistants. See Nuss, locksley (imo), Tosh. Sark is my favorite OC/playcaller under Saban with the exception of Kiffin.

Colorado and Mississippi State interviewed him this past off season for their HC. He stayed and got a good raise. He won't leave for just any gig.

But Alabama's next OC and DC are already on staff...Major Applewhite and Charlie Strong.

This offense is plug and play, bitch! Hell, we survived Doug Nussmeyer calling plays and still won. Sark is very, very good. But if he leaves....NEXT!

Now see, I was just bragging on you today on the Rant and you go and do this. I was hoping for some real insight into what Bama fans thought of Sark and the job he's done. I would also like to hear your thoughts on who you would like to see replace him.

And you're nuts if you think we're giving you Slinger.

Really don’t see him going anywhere. He completed rehab with Saban, but jumped to the NFL and then quickly came back. After Saban had been stripped of assistants so many times, coupled with the timing of Sark’s return, I wouldn’t be surprised if both had a mutual agreement he’d be committed for awhile. But who knows?

It would suck, but I'll wish him well when he goes, as long as he gives his full attention to coaching until the day he walks out the door.

I absolutely loved having Kiffin as OC, but he legitimately cost a NC by trying to do two jobs at once and not being able to completely focus on one or the other.

It would suck. Kiffin was great at utilizing talent that players had and calling plays but imo Sark is almost as good a play caller and he’s better at developing QBs. He’s done an outstanding job with Jones. I’m using Jalen as a point of reference but I never saw him progress as a passer under Kiffin. Kiffin was just a magician at finding ways to make his limited passing ability not hurt the offense.

I have also never seen saban light into Sark like he did Kiffin either.

He seems to have done everything CNS has asked of him. I would like to get one more year out of him, he has done wonders with the qb’s.

I haven't seen that many come and go at Alabama before Nick Saban was the HC there!

Are you serious?? In his one year with Kiffin he became Bama's all time leading single season TD scorer and second all time in total offense.

Kiffin was freaking brilliant working with someone who started college 4 months after turning 17.

I could see him being the Alabama HC in waiting

Kiffin turned Blake Sims into a top 5 all-time QB at Bama statistically. A converted RB finished the season #2 in passing yards and #4 in touchdowns.

Let that sink in for a minute.

I wouldn't want him as a HC, but the man is the best OC to roll through Tuscaloosa during my lifetime.
