Particularly since no one even said anything classless at all.
I genuinely feel sorry for the young man and his family, no matter where he goes to college.

It should be noted that student athletes can withdraw their name from the Transfer Portal at any time. He's from New Jersey and his grandmother is on life support, so he wants to be home. According to a family member, he is not closing the door on going back to Alabama, he's just seeing what his options are.
Some on here will no doubt make this about Alabama and Saban, but it sounds like it's about his family situation.
I wish he and his family well, and respect whatever choice he makes.
