in the second half lsu played a bunch of man free and committed more to the run than bama could block. that was the reason for the 2nd half shut down. the proble for lsu is they moved away fro that with 1 minute left. the problem for the rest of college football is that I don't think anyone else in america can play man free against bama and not give up 350 yards passing.
