I'll say the same thing here I say in every thread where a player is arrested for crimes where the facts aren't clear.

If Cam Robinson had a gun he knew or should have suspected was stolen then Bye Felicia but everyone, including college football players, deserve the presumption of innocence. Wait until you know the facts before you take a permanent action.

Being charged with a felony almost always means immediate indefinite suspension, guilty or innocent.

Problem is they can't be reinstated until the charges are dropped or they're indicted on a lesser charge. This is similar to what happened to Jordan Jefferson in 11', he was charged with a felony in the last week of spring practice and suspended for months. A grand jury refused to indict on felony charges sometime around mid-season and he was reinstated with a slap on the wrist for the lower misdemeanor assault. Entirely up to the court how long the process will take.

I wouldn't even drive and smoke because of the potential DWI charges. These aren't your average young adults, these are well known SEC football players. I don't know what the demographics are in that area, but I know there are at least some girls with cool parents that will let you have a good time at their place and crash until the morning.

what about Eddie Williams and Brent Calloway? both 5 star prospects that didn't make it back and we definitely could have used Eddie Williams.

Pettway didn't hit or commit the robbery but was there, went to JUCO and then came back. Really don't see how that keeps getting thrown around as a "Saban doesn't punish quality players" type of situation.
