I mean if Verne can get Orlando McCain out of Rolando McClain. I don't see why not.

I'd forgotten how badly peepaw could butcher names.

I'm glad Cooper decided to get off the bus. Can't say the same for the rest of the team. He was very impressive, none-the-less.

Is there a better looking freshman receiver in the SEC this year?
Lots of hype about that receiver Missouri got, but Cooper is starting to show what practice observers have been hinting about ever since he showed up.

Amari Cooper with Kenny Bell might be what we have been waiting for. I also can't wait to see what Cyrus Jones can do. Alabama is so deep at receiver I can't blame Nussmeier for putting more emphasis on the passing game.

I'm ok with that,as long as we take our downfield shots. But we haven't really done it that much, yet. Having said that, the running game has been and always will be our bread and butter

I agree about the running game, but you can't ignore the athletes we have at WR. At times, the passing game has been acting as the running game in nickle and diming em' down the field. Last night McCarron was 17/19 passing in the first half, but he only threw for 118 yards. A lot of crossing patterns and curl routes, but given good down field blocking those can turn into huge gains. In 2012, the running game isn't setting up the passing game, it's just the opposite.
