Bama won't win the NC without a vertical passing attack.

Hell, if UGA keeps improving throughout the season, they won't even beat us in the SECG without one. Our defense is fast, physical, disciplined and we tackle extremely well. Bama's backs and their "dual threat" QB who can only run the ball won't be enough against us. Jalen Hurts is the most overrated player in the SEC. And if they somehow do beat us and make it back to the CFP, they're not going to win it. A true duel threat like Baker Mayfield will carve them up just like Deshaun Watson did. They lost with Sims and Hurts because they lacked a downfield passing attack. At least with Coker you could count on him completing a pass over 20 yards every now and then.

Georgia is not beating Alabama this year or anytime in the future that Saban is still there. Even if you are very good, if you run a traditional offense you can forget it vs them, and this is not just based on yesterday, it's based on games that Alabama has played vs talented teams, like FSU or Michigan State.

Georgia runs the type of offense that Bama shuts down. Game would be a massacre and Kirby would look like Ray Goff on the sidelines making clueless faces and looking at the scoreboard wondering what happened.

I can think of several teams over the years that won without a vertical passing game. And who says we don't have one?
Calvin Ridley torched FSU and would have done it again if he isn't tackled by the DB. And if that line continues to progress and we can go 5 deep at RB, It will be awful hard to stop that run. Then you have to contend with Hurts.

It was wrong of me to think that anyone on this site possesses adequate reading comprehension skills. First I said that Bama will not win the NC. Then I said that if UGA continues to improve throughout this season, they won't even beat us without a vertical passing game. One way or another, Saban will not be hoisting the CFP trophy at the end of this season.

It won't matter if Hurts doesn't improve. Even talented traditional offenses get manhandled by Saban's Alabama.
