Bama wins SECCG, A&M wins out. Does CFP put in B1G AND P-12 over A&M?

Admittedly a clickbait thread title. I personally don't see them putting two SEC teams in the CFP if the B1G and P-12 both have legitimate contenders, even with their pathetically short seasons.

Not sure I see any other SEC team making a case to be the second one in, but a lot ball to be played and we will probably still shite the bed.

Needless to say, I don't see a BDF team in this at all.

Just wondering how the CFP committee will handle this clusterfrick of a season.

Put in Notre Dame with a 6-4 record.

The Pac12 isn’t getting anyone in playing only 7 games, even if someone goes 7-0.

Oklahoma State and Notre Dame will both almost certainly lose multiple games

I think a one loss SEC or Big 10 team will get the final bid

Already said I don't actually expect us to win out. Just think we are the only ones in position to make this an issue. Any other SEC team I'm not thinking about?

Would probably have to come from the West. Every East team would have a regular season loss plus the SECCG.

ETA: Bama could lose the SECCG to a 1-loss East team, which almost certainly put 2 in. I'm just wondering about a non-SECCG team getting in.

Serious answer. Take your scenario along with Bama beating everyone left in the regular season by two touchdowns and include Florida winning out before losing a tight game to Bama in the SEC game. I imagine A&M would be a lock for the CFP.

Second serious answer. A&M isn't winning out

The fact you believe this is astounding. They will do everything they can to keep two sec teams out. A 7-0 pac 12 or a 6-0 big ten will absolutely get the nod over a second second team. The sec is not beloved after a full decade of dominance.

They arent leaving the B1G champ out unless they absolutely have to. Theyll consider 9 games as a big enough sample size

Gonna be the most interesting CFP race ever this year for sure. To answer the question though I would say no. I think 2 SEC teams has a great shot at getting in even a 2 loss SEC runner up deserves a shot this year. It will be UGA or UF though unless absolute chaos happens.
