They will go undefeated in the regular season. Having the best offensive and defensive player in college football is too much for anyone on their schedule to overcome. Maybe Georgia beats them but that’s it. We’re all battling for 2nd

Well people in the national media are acting like because of the Texas game they’re all of a sudden a 2 or 3 loss team and there’s no way in hell that’s happening.

Arkansas is probably the last line of defense. Not too many teams left on that schedule with the offensive weapons & defensive line depth to hang.

There are morons on this website doing that too.

I don’t think anyone has acted that way. Just that Alabama is more human than they seemed from 2018-2020. But that WR corps was downright insane. Teamed with a deep RB room, it was a “pick your poison”.

Or, and just hear me out, we should wait and see if Texas was a one off aberration or if it's the new normal.

It's ok not to be sure 2 games into a season!

They mav very well. They have the best coach who has ever lived. I have just can't recall seeing them look so vulnerable since they began their title runs.

SOG, I have to defer to your take. No doubt it's more accurate. I just don't recall that far back. Maybe because it was the beginning of Kirby's tenure and I just wasn't following it quite as closely as I do now. Just seems like you guys have been the perennial power for the last 20 years.

I haven’t seen that but i don’t watch Sports tv. I do know, though, that it would create discussion and that’s what the sports talking heads depend on.

The 2014/2015 teams figured it out at some point (2014s physical flaws caught up with them vs OSU). 2021 kind of did but then the thing they figured out immediately evaporated with the WR injuries and nobody prepared to step in.

This team has some clear flaws like those did. Only time will tell if they figure it out or not.

And it’s entirely possible that young players may improve as the year progresses. In fact , I think it’s probable. So , of course, will young players on the other teams but since Alabama has more elite young players than most other teams, as judged by supposedly informed sources, that would be good for UA.

Other than the lack of a deep threat to take the top off a defense what holes does bama have?
