I like the games scheduled so far. PSU was a renewal of old rivalry. FSU and UM are big names that Bama had not played in a while. VT and Clemson were both "hot" teams when Bama played them.
The VT game this year is not very exciting, mostly because they played recently.
I'm also looking forward to this Wisc game and the MSU home and home.

I really want Bama to put Utah on their non-conference schedule. Bama owes them an asskicking for the embarrassing 2009 Sugar Bowl loss. That's basically the only unfinished business Bama and Saban has left. Every other loss has been avenged. Saban crushed Meyer twice after losing to him in the 2008 SEC Championship Game. He humiliated LSU in the national championship game and tore out their hearts last year after losing to them twice in a row. They crushed Auburn two years in a row after blowing the 24 point lead in 2010. The Texas A&M loss hasn't been avenged yet but their time is coming. Spurrier's probably the only other coach or team that Saban hasn't fully conquered yet but there is still time left for Saban to even the score against Spurrier. Saban has also beaten the two non-conference teams that have given Bama the most trouble over the years (Texas and Notre Dame) in national championship games. Utah is really the only score left that they haven't settled. Put them on the schedule and kick their arse.

Agreed

The thing that really missed pissed me off about the Utah loss is how smug and arrogant their players, fans and coaches acted after that game. Remember Kyle Whittingham bragging that they beat Bama by a larger margin than Florida did? They've gotten their comeuppance though. Utah has been rendered completely irrelevant in the Pac-12 while Bama has won three national championships since that time.

When Notre Dame was doing this shite, people cried, now it's ok
It's fricking stupid, either play a team from the home fricking state, or don't play at all. What next? Bama vs tOSU in New York??
The hypocrisy from fan bases on this, after whining and crying about Notre Dame doing this, is laughable.
Whores for the $$$$

LSU has had a tougher regular season OOC over the last 7 years than Alabama. Easily.

well, neither Texas school will, nor will OU or Arky who all have an annual game there anyway. Leaves few options for big fan bases nearby.

Not sure what you're talking about... but I've always like the neutral site games. Whether it's my team playing or not.
Bama has about a 50/50 mix of neutral and home-and-home games for their one big OOC each year. I think that is perfect, and Saban says he like the games in ATL and now Dallas for recruiting possibilities

BOOM. Thanks for posting what I thought was false about Bama. I didnt think they played the caliber of teams LSU has in non con games. And when you throw in the fact that LSU plays real SEC East teams instead of the losers Bama plays.....You get the point.

And big deal about Wisc, they wont be any good. TCU vs LSU next season is a better game.

Who cares about ooc. H2H is all that matters, and we own you.

Went to the Michigan game last year. Dallas is too damn hot. I'd rather the game be in Chicago or somewhere not so miserable.
Posted on 3/20/13 at 7:26 pm to Bench McElroy
Right, because there is nothing smug or arrogant bout everything involved with Bama
