I assume there will be a large initial spike at every school as athletes comes back to campus. You have kids coming from all over the country, so there's no telling the people to whom the athletes were exposed. Once they get back on campus, the schools will be able to quarantine, monitor, and protect them a bit better.

Still affects everything from meetings, practice, etc. Once the season gets underway, imagine 5 more players catch it and depletes a whole defense. Not good at all.

Have any other teams had players who are infected? Bama is the first one I'm aware of

Marshall. Oklahoma St. Many more will follow.

Alabama's were just the first ones to comeback. Which tells me Alabama had a more streamlined test with a quick turnaround.

Saban is intentionally giving each player COVID before fall camp starts so when the other teams are having players test positive and sit for 2-3 games during the season Bama is at full strength.

Yeah, the timeline seems to be that they were tested on Tues, had an informal workout yesterday organized by the players, and results came back today. Would have been nice to get those results before nearly 50 players (according to Simone Eli) got together to workout, but whatever.

Oklahoma State reported yesterday LINK, & Arkansas State a few minutes ago LINK.

I'd be surprised is any team didn't have at least 1 or more players that either have it or have had it.

They should group the other 120 kids around them and make sure they all get it now and get it over with.

But that would take a little too much common sense.

aren't you a UGA or LSU fan? In either case your state has way more cases and deaths.

In any event, it's a pretty good bet that every team will be hit, so better to happen sooner than later.

Atlanta and New Orleans are cities.

You don’t have any of those. You have trailer parks.

It's about the 10th one in my lifetime.

The simple fact of the matter is the more low risk people who get it now and get it over with the better. It decreases the exposure length for people who are at a higher risk by increasing the amount of immune people in the population, which means it runs out of people to infect sooner.

I don't understand how you were voted best poster with your plethora of poorly and incorrectly placed bolds, italices, and underlines.
