I was under the impression that almost everyone is going to get the virus at some point, and that the measures we’ve taken were mostly to not overwhelm the healthcare system.

I hope that everyone who does get it, including these players, returns to full health quickly and without further issue.

But we haven’t eradicated the virus, and it’s not going away.

The measures we took were to stall because our leaders had no idea what they were doing.

We just have to hope that our immunities are strong post-infection and enough people have gotten it for cases to continue dropping.

Everyone will get it or maybe a big portion has already gotten it, and just don't know it yet or ever will.

Not to flame but maybe it's better for all these SEC athletes to get through it now and recover by fall.

I honestly don't know how he keeps up with all of them.

A flub is bound to happen at some point.

It's easy to keep up with things that don't exist.

Although we're joking about this, it's pretty fricking serious relative to the start of the season.

5+ players = no player meetings, no practice, etc etc etc.

No doubt.

I'm also going to lean towards Nick Saban already having a comprehensive plan in a binder somewhere for just this scenario.

Lawsuits incoming, oh look, saban still not caring about players health. Same situation, different season.

Can't really blame him when Alabama hasn't had any actual team activities yet.

Their fans deserve some of the blame.

They ignored all of my warnings!
