Bama losing Scott Cochran- It's an even bigger deal now

Think about Saban losing an institutionally entrenched badass S/C coach, having to break in a new one, during a time when only the S/C would have still been able to have unlimited coaching time during all the Coronavirus NCAA shut down. Having Cochran for continuity during these uncertain times, now more than ever, would have been a really big deal for the team.

Cochran was hired as a special teams coach, he wouldn't have have had unlimited time with the players with or without coronavirus shut downs. UGA's S/C Scott Sinclair has been entrenched since Kirby's tenure started, in 2016. UGA has that S/C continuity through the shutdown.
Alabama has not.

Georgia's SC is well established and has been motivating the dawgs all during this time. Constantly has them competing and posting workouts over social accounts and keeping up with them.
I get the OP. It has to be a somewhat more difficult for Bama with a new SC.
Doesn't mean we have an edge or anything.

That doesn't make any sense. You do realize the S/C coach is still able to talk to and get direction from Saban right?

Saban let Bobby Williams, who is basically a corpse, coach ST for years. And yet he still didn’t think Cochran could handle it

I kept waiting for Saban to fire Cochran during those lame commercials they did last season.
The look Saban gave him was telling.

Should have been scouted properly then.
Should have redshirted
Should have hit up wes’ booby trap’s bathroom after texag7 lapdanced him.
As a rs frosh, he could have Moffittized wrists.
Bad scouting.

Its a strength coach. The guy they replaced him with is a solid coach. If it helps you sleep better at night to fantasize about the Bama program being destroyed by a strength coach leaving...by all means go for it
