The obvious decrease of overall output that the Tide see happening right now would be fine and acceptable for Little Ten members like Arkansas, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Georgia, etc.

And who knows, Bama fans may come to terms with it too.

Bama fans may decide to tighten their belts and accept the newly arrived dominance of Gus Malzahn, who has won two out of the last three Iron Bowls. Gus will probably receive a well deserved extension, something we are all expecting any day now.

And of course Bama should get used to it and simply appreciate the ride they had. It was magnificent. Congrats Bama!

Besides, I always looked at the Law of Diminishing Returns as, well, just rich people seeing smaller numbers roll across their screens, but oh well, still something that must be really nice. No more perfection mind you, but how long can perfection last anyway? Not long. And that is basic mathematics folks.

This next graph looks more ominous. That's a hell of a downward screech on a chalk board over there on the right. Down down down. But it happens.

I don't think we will see a marginal or less than marginal product for Alabama today on signing day. That's a year or two away. Plus the media is always the last to come around on issues of logistics. They don't understand math. That's why they became journalists. So I suspect we will see glowing headlines about this Bama class today. And that's fine.

Bama should be allowed to celebrate a little longer.

So I read through all that to conclude that I'm still allowed to celebrate?

What a shitty, strange thread.

I don't mind the downvote sir. I understand your need to work through this and vent your frustrations.

Bama is not going anywhere. Unfortunately. LSU and Auburn have caught up. When Bama stops getting top two or three recruiting classes then we will see some decline. They are still pulling in a 5 star QB.

Bama is going to lose a bunch of juniors and most likely a Tua So they will be vulnerable in 2020.

Auburn and LSU lose a bunch as well.

Speaking of that Kashmir, look at this next graph. The sad nun-looking type lady actually looks pissed off about the limp direction things are heading in. I'm not saying that's a direct comparison with Alabama right now. Nor am I saying it's not.

If Bama has 2-3 straight "off" seasons, I might buy into that. One season doesn't make a downward trend.

Harry please pray for me and the few Bama fans who are left. The fair weather fans have abandoned the tide after a 2 loss season. It’s terrible. The Bama coffee club used to have to push sometimes 3 tables together at the 18th street MickeyDs. Now we can all sit in a booth. Hard times.

Well here is the hard evidence people have been seeking. I see this thread as incontrovertible fact.

Also, we already know that Alabama is losing dozens upon dozens of fans by the day because all their swag is en route to the flea market.

The problem with this logic is that you are using a mobile denominator. You can't win but ONE national championship, SEC championship, or beat a team but once (usually) a year, so go back to the drawing board, try to figure something else out, and get back to us.

Harry's logic is evidenced by the fire sale on Bama swag. There have been threads written on this already so I won't bother digging them out. Suffice to say, things don't look good for Sabans long term. Things probably won't be outwardly visible for awhile yet, but believe me when I say that the brain trust in Tuscaloosa is crapping their collective pants right now.

One option they have left is to go ahead and cut bait with Sabans before he becomes even more of a liability with his reckless words. Try and pump some new blood into the program.

Why are so many of you concerned about Alabama? The amount of time you people spend posting about a team that did not even win its division this year is truly amazing

He wasn't banned. He voluntarily took a break from here. Being banned implies wrong doing and he's an Arkansas fan. Don't be silly.
